Painting the Landscape - Now Enrolling
Ongoing, this class meets every Thursday from 10 am to 1pm.
Tuition: $50. per class or 4 classes for $175.
Painting From Life - The Alla Prima Approach
Each class will guide beginners as well as the experienced artist through
the process of painting from life. A strong emphasis is placed on the
need to create preliminary sketches as the foundation for stronger
paintings. This is an intensive program, designed to strengthen skills
of perception as well as mastery of the medium. Perfect for promising
young artists (16+) who are preparing for a career in the visual arts.
The Bermuda Worshop
November, 2008Join award winning artist, Eli Cedrone for a unique experience in Bermuda! Follow in the footsteps of Winslow Homer, from the breathtaking, beaches of the South Shore to the winding alleyways of St. George’s. Explore the island, “en plein aire” while learning to paint in the alla prima tradition; from life and all in one sitting. This 3 day workshop is scheduled for November 13-16, when the climate in Bermuda is perfect for painting outdoors. Space is limited - enroll early by

Live Event Painting
A painting done on location evolves on the canvas just as the event unfolds around me. I'm especially interested in finding the vitality in a scene and I'm able to capture the atmosphere and essence of your event. When you commission me to paint your special occasion, you are adding a subtle form of entertainment to your event. Guests watch the evolution of the painting with great interest and enthusiasm. Paintings are finished on location or if necessary, back in studio and are delivered about a week later. Events that lend themselves to live painting: weddings, concerts, outdoor gatherings, reunions, graduations, fund raisers.

Recently,
I was invited to demo at a "Salon Night" on Boston's Beacon Hill. The
event raised money for a non-profit organization. If you have an event
where a live demo would add to the exitement, I'd be happy to discuss
it with you. I'm also available to speak, give a presentatation and
demo at educational events or fundraisers.
