2020 ushered in a brave new world for artists. I'm hearing from many that they've lost their motivation to paint. Have you been feeling that way? I know I did for the first few weeks of quarantine. I felt stuck, uninspired and I couldn't go out to paint the beauty around me.

One of the biggest challenges any creative person will ever face is knowing how to start anything. With each day, I forced myself to create new habits and routines that brought me back to a sense of purpose. With few distractions from the outside world I had time to explore ideas that I'd put on hold for years. With gallery closures I found creative ways to reach out to collectors through online lectures and demos. Through this process, I also discovered a way to teach people from all over the world!
